Funerals
When someone close has died finding the right way to say “goodbye” can be overwhelming.
It is an honour as a professionally trained celebrant to create, write and deliver a truly bespoke funeral or memorial service that honours and celebrates the life lived. This might be through poems and readings, pieces of music or a combination.
I will work collaboratively with you to capture the essence of your loved one in a fitting farewell ceremony. From personal experience I know how important this can be. It was my motivation to train as a celebrant.
Costs (2024)
My charges for a funeral service start from £260.00.
My services will include:

A meeting to discuss your ideas and plans for the ceremony

Identifying and sourcing any music, readings, and poems

The Eulogy – writing it for you or helping you to write one

Sending you the Eulogy for approval before the ceremony

Officiating at the service

A copy of your ceremony script
Travel over 25 miles and overnight accommodation is not included.
My charges for a Memorial or Celebration of Life ceremony held at a venue other than a crematorium will depend on your specific requirements, which I would be very happy to discuss with you. A simple service will start from £300.00.
