I was inspired to train as a professional celebrant due to a wonderful funeral service that captured the essence and personality of a family member. So, I know how powerful and special a service tailored specifically for you and your loved one can be.

 

I also know from experience that an empathetic celebrant can make a huge difference in getting a service just right.

Whether you want something traditional, or you have in mind a service or ceremony with more unusual elements, the journey with me is about identifying and delivering the perfect service, because you only get one chance to make your farewell meaningful.

With empathy and care I will listen carefully to you, help and advise you, and use my creative writing skills to deliver a service that reflects your wishes. This ensures your service is personalised for you and the right farewell to your loved one.  Hopefully, this will help to create a positive memory of a sad occasion.

 
I have taken 100s of funerals and end of life ceremonies across Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire. (I am happy to travel if asked.) I have a good knowledge of some beautiful venues for holding ceremonies.

My charges for a funeral service or end of life ceremony at any venue start from £300.00.

My services will include:

  • A meeting to discuss your ideas and plans for the ceremony

  • Identifying and sourcing any music, readings, and poems

  • The Eulogy – writing it for you or helping you to write one

  • Sending you the Eulogy for approval before the ceremony

  • Officiating at the service

  • A copy of your ceremony script

 

Travel over 25 miles and overnight accommodation is not included.

 

My charges for an interment or scattering of ashes will depend on your individual requirements.
